Pakistan overcame India by 8 wickets in a U-19 Asia Cup league match in Dubai on Sunday, led by Azan Awais' excellent unbeaten century. Pakistan clinched first place in Group A with the victory. Saad Baig, who also had an unbeaten 68-run innings, put on a brilliant century stand for the third wicket with Awais (105*) to help Pakistan win with 18 balls remaining. With a gritty half-century, opener Shahzaib Khan (63) established the groundwork for India's 260-run chase. Murugan Abhishek was India's lone wicket taker, with two wickets for 55 runs.
