PREVIEW OF THE TEAM
Every major cricket competition sees the New Zealand cricket team arrive as underdogs and go on to shock some of the biggest names in the competition. The Kiwis, who won the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2021, will try to win it all in Australia this time around with Kane Williamson serving as captain. After defeating India in the inaugural ICC Test Championship final last year, New Zealand finally won the ICC Trophy, but they haven't quite been able to match that success in the white-ball formats. As they did at the previous two 50-over World Cups, they were unable to overcome the penultimate barrier while performing admirably during the T20 World Cup last year. They had a mixed performance in the previous domestic tri-series, losing to Pakistan in the championship game on Friday, October 14. They now enter the T20 World Cup after a mixed performance. Jimmy Neesham and Mitchell Santner, both all-arounders, provide a nice balance to the team, as does Michael Bracewell, whose game-changing skills have already been demonstrated in a relatively short career. The fast-bowling unit is led by Trent Boult and Tim Southee, and while Lockie Ferguson's availability is questionable, New Zealand has an effective backup in Adam Milne, who has experience competing in the BBL in Australia.
Only Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have scored more runs in T20Is than Martin Guptill, who has 3531 runs at 31.81. Additionally, he has two hundreds and the second-most sixes (173) in the format, behind Rohit (178). Even though he hasn't been at his best lately, he has the knowledge and abilities to perform well on the largest platform.

Trent Boult has been New Zealand's all-around bowling leader for a while, and in recent years, he has been in outstanding white-ball shape. Boult played a significant role in the Rajasthan Royals' journey to the IPL 2022 championship earlier this year. Recently, he was virtually unplayable with the new ball in the West Indies, Australia, and home tri-series. He is an effective bowler at the death because of his excellent control of yorkers and clever length and pace variations.
STRONG BATTING

The top 3 bats are the team's batting strength. A top-heavy hitting lineup describes them. But they also have a strong batting lineup. The men at numbers 6 and 7 have less well-known names, but they are also capable workers. Which of Devon Conway, Daryl Mitchell, or Mark Chapman will bat first alongside Martin Guptill must be decided by Kane Williamson. Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson will cause a lot of trouble for the opposition when bowling together. FINISHERS FOR THE TEAM

The middle overs and finisher roles both have a clear weakness. The finisher's function is quite important. Players from the other teams are assigned to this position. Matthew Wade from Australia, Dinesh Karthik from India, and Dasun Shanaka from Sri Lanka are all arriving. However, Neesham and Michael Bracewell are from New Zealand. Bracewell has demonstrated that he is capable, but he has yet to succeed on a worldwide scale. Who will confidently bowl in the middle overs is the question. There will be a lot of opportunities. For New Zealand as a team, the first opportunity is to win the ICC T20 World Cup for the first time. The team has what it takes to win it all. The players simply need to play to their abilities. The previous World Cup was missed by Lockie Ferguson. He is going to be eager to display his talent to the world.
INJURIES TO TEAM PLAYERS
Injury problems have a history with the New Zealand team. We have observed significant players missing from vital games due to injuries. Tennis elbow pain has also plagued Kane Williamson for a very long time. The supporters will be hoping that the intensity of that lessens as soon as possible. Additionally, Lockie Ferguson is a delicate asset. Not being able to find the proper combination is another danger.
